Bold= most important

Hey y'all! This is just a quick reminder post to remind you of a few things.
#1- Go vote on that poll over there! <---- I'd like to know what to do for AJP's birthday in advance, so I can actually get something ready!
#2- If you haven't already, please read this post:
It's an explanation post explaining all sorts of new things about my life, Animal Jam and this blog, plus a new Meme of the Day! You don't have to read it, of course, but I'd prefer if you did.
#3- In case you didn't know, I run a weekly comic, and I'd really appreciate if you checked out my most recent comics. If you think they're funny, that's really great! If you don't like them, then that is completely fine. I have around 30 comics, and if you haven't read any of them, you can start here: or you can see my latest story arc here: UPDATE: THERE'S A NEW COMIC! It serves as the end of my latest story arc. You can see it here:

Anyway, it would be A+ if you did all that. I will most likely delete this post soon. See you next time!!

Happy Earth Day everyone!! Today is a very special day to care for our beautiful green and blue planet. We only have one, you know. So let's celebrate by dancing!!
Aww, that bunny is so adorable!! I want to give him a hug! Anyway, today we are going on a tour of Jamaa and looking at the different signs that AJHQ has put up about Earth Day. We are also going to look for different ways to care for Earth! AND PAY ATTENTION! This will be on the quiz at the end. So, let's begin, shall we? Let's start in good ol' Coral Canyons!
Yes, that's right, AJHQ! Earth Day can be as little as picking up a bottle and putting it in the recycling. In 2014, I did something called Daily Deeds for Earth Day, and lots of people participated in it. And the Daily Deeds weren't like solving world hunger or getting rid of all landfills or something outlandish like that, they were just simple things. One person simply picked up trash near a memorial (which is incredibly rude to litter in a memorial). Last year, someone recycled 20 pieces of paper. 2 years ago, someone didn't use too much electricity all day. It's the little things that make a difference in the world!
Here are some lovely Coral Canyons flowers.
Here is an empty Coke can. Now, if you saw those flowers and you had the Diet Coke can in your hand, what would you do?
A. Throw it into the flowers
B. Chuck it into an upcoming garbage can
C. Keep walking and wait to recycle the can

Okay, do you have your answers? Check them in 3...2...1... time's up!
The answer is, of course, C. That was an easy one. Of course you wouldn't throw it into the bushes! That would be littering, and littering is not nice to little animals like chipmunks. Now, chipmunks are usually spotted sitting on a branch in Sarepia Forest in Animal Jam, but what about in real life? What would you do if you saw a chipmunk in real life, sitting on a branch?
A. Throw a rock at it
B. Leave it be
C. Scare it

Okay, do you have your answers? Check them in 3...2...1... time's up!
If your answer was B, then give yourself a point! Disturbing a chipmunk isn't going to do anything. If you do that, you're not going to do anything to the chipmunk because they're much too fast. If anything, the chipmunk might attack YOU. But enough about chipmunks, let's look at the nice poster AJ left for us in Sarepia Forest! Those three things are definitely true. And they're all really easy! Well, planting trees is a little bit harder because you have to get the tree and find a place to plant it, among other things. BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT! Onto the next area!
This is the beautiful hidden elephant statue in Lost Temple of Zios. It is only accessible by flying animals: falcons, owls and eagles. Elephants themselves are beautiful and majestic creatures that are very social and communicate with a special mixture of trumpets, rumbles, and infrasonic sound. They also intertwine trunks as a sign of affection. They communicate and act just like humans do. But I have a hypothetical question for you:
You are working at a zoo. Doesn't matter which zoo, it can be any zoo you like. It recently got a new animal: an elephant! The elephant is a big attraction and people love to see her. But suddenly, she becomes very sad and depressed. What should you do?
A. Feed her lots of food and water
B. Get another elephant at the zoo
C. Close the exhibit so she's not with so many people

Alright, you know the drill. Answers close in 3...2...1... time's up!
The correct answer is B, although A and C would help, but not fix the problem. So if you answered B, give yourself another point! As for the image above, yes! That is so true! There's so many organizations to join if you want to help care for the earth.
Post break: Am I being too bossy? I feel like I am. I'm really sorry if I am. I'm trying to encourage what Animal Jam is saying, not telling you what you have to do. All of this is completely optional, and I'm sure almost all of you do Daily Deeds every day without even thinking about it. Pat yourself on the back, y'all! Okay, back to the post.
I joined an Earth Day organization once, and it was really fun! It was called Everyday Leaders and every Wednesday we would meet up and go pick up trash or learn how to conserve water or something. I was glad that I joined it, because it made me feel like I was helping the world be a greener place. Have you joined anything like that? Tell me down in the comments if you have! Okay, onto the next area!
Ooh, gold and gems in Mt. Shiveer! Pretty, right? Now, I have another hypothetical question for you. If you owned a mining company, and your company went up here, what would you do?
A. Extract the gold and gems carefully with an ice pick
B. Bring out big equipment to Mt. Shiveer and break apart the cliff to see if there's more
C. Admire the precious mineral's shininess, but leave it alone

Okay, you get this process now! Check your answers in 3...2...1... time!
The correct answer is A or C! I mean, I've never had a firsthand experience with a mining company, but I know that breaking apart the cliff and bringing out big equipment like that would cause a lot more damage than it would good. Lots of animal's homes would be destroyed, the equipment would run over various plants that live there, they might shatter the ice... all sorts of bad things. That's what happened in Alaska, when they were drilling for oil. They ruined lots of natural habitats and wildlife that might never go back. It's sad. But anyway, onto the Mt. Shiveer poster! I did not know that, that is so cool. 20 people, all climbing Mt. Everest in honor of Earth Day. That's very inspiring! Those 20 people really live life to the fullest. And that's only one way to live life to the fullest! That's what I love about things like Earth Day, it inspires people to do AWESOME things! Okay, next area.
Huh. That is very interesting. I knew that Earth Day is a relatively new holiday, but I didn't know it was founded because of an oil spill. Well, now I know! Oil spills are horrible, they infect the animals, plants, and the water. It's very depressing when that happens, like in 2010. It took them years to clean the plants and animals, and the water is still infected. Speaking of water, here's another quiz question!
This question is about water, since there's so much water in Crystal Sands. So, imagine you're taking a bath. It is filling up, but the water feels so nice and you want it to fill up all the way, so you can soak more. What should you do?
A. Take a shower instead
B. Wait to fill it up all the way
C. Turn off the water

Got 'em? Okay, check your answers in 3...2...1... time!
The answer is either A or C. Showers use a lot less water than baths, so it's better to take a shower rather than a bath. Or you could just turn off the water early in the bath, but that's not too fun because it doesn't really feel as good. But it is saving water, and everyone needs to do that because we only have 3% of freshwater. Gosh darn saltwater, taking up 97% of our water! We can't drink you! Ugh. Well, onto the next area!
Welcome to Bahari Bay, the area right under Crystal Sands that is full of water and beautiful fish. Now, if you were snorkeling under water and you noticed a dorsal fin such as that in the water, what would you do?
A. Get a speargun from a nearby shop and shoot the shark
B. Get out of the water
C. Scream, kick and yell

Alright, got your answer? 3...2...1...time!
The answer is B. That shark isn't after you, it's after a seal that's there! Sharks only attack humans because they think they are seals. Mostly, the shark will just bite a human's leg, then say "hey, this isn't a seal!", let go and swim off. They don't mean any harm to humans. Jaws got it all wrong. Sharks are actually quite peaceable, if humans would just leave them alone.
Here is the windmill in Kimbara Outback. It is the spot for our last quiz question. Windmills are a great source of energy, they can hook up to electric wires and power your house, if you wanted to. But in this question, you get the choice. Let's say you are running a farm, and your contractor gives you 3 options for power. Which one would you choose?
A. Fossil fuels, like coal, oil and natural gas
B. Electricity, which would be the easiest to hook up
C. Wind or solar energy, energy from the sun and wind

Okay, you have your answers? Great! Be ready to check your final answers and score in 3...2...1... TIME'S UP! Turn in your tests, people! I'm going to grade them! I told you to pay attention.
And here is one last fact about Earth Day you can read while I'm grading your tests. Yes! I knew it was a fairly recent holiday! 1970 is old in the world of most things, but in the world of holidays, it's pretty new. I wonder how many countries celebrate it?
193 countries. Wow. So it has really expanded since 1970. Well, I'm done grading your tests! Here are your results!
7/7 correct- YOU ARE AN ENVIRONMENTAL GENIUS! I bet you have joined a club or group to help care for the Earth. Pat yourself on the back, you really know how to care for the Earth!
6/7 correct- You are also an environmental genius!! Congrats, you are a very green person.
5/7 correct- That's pretty good!! You have some to learn, but overall you know your stuff about Earth Day!
4/7 correct- Okay, okay! Not too bad! You might want to do a little research to look up more about our planet, but good job anyway.
3/7 correct- Oooh, that's not too good. Well, maybe I'll teach you! We'll start with not littering. Nice effort though.
2/7 correct- At least you tried, but you really need to learn about the environment.
1/7 correct-  Yeesh. That is not too good. You REALLY need to learn!
0/7 correct- Are you Donald Trump??

So, I hope you liked that little Earth Day extravaganza. I had fun making it. Happy Earth Day everyone, and have a great day!

GUYS WE DID IT (bonus post!)

We did it. We got our first hater comment on this blog.
CONGRATULATIONS!! We have never gotten a hate comment, much less a comment with a swear word in it, on this blog before! I'd like to thank my cat, my brother, my stuffed cheetah, and my rock collection. Thank you for this moment.

In all seriousness though, I don't let hate comments like these get to me. I've had a ton of them on my YouTube channel, but none on here yet, so this was the first. But as I was looking for the hate comment to delete it, look what popped up!
Yeah, that's right! You think about what you did! Run away with your tail between your legs! Unknown was too ashamed and scared to stick around and wait for the wrath of me. But wait a minute- on Blogger, if you don't have a username, you're called Anonymous, right? So why is this person called Unknown? Also, their name is blue. That means it is clickable. Black means un-clickable. Here's the difference:

You see the blue? The clicky click? So let's do that, let's click on their profile and see where it leads us!
Ah. I should have guessed. So, as the F*** You Guy, do you just go around to people's posts like mine and say "f*** you"? Sounds like a real nice person, huh! Oh, and then you delete your comment so the blog owner won't catch you. Man. Completely breaking rule #1 of this blog.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this short little post about a dumb hate comment! Happy 4/20, RIP Prince, and drive safe

High Heels, Provolone, and Daisy Head Maisy?! Explanation Time!

Hey Jammers! This is just an update post to let you know about a few things. No, my computer's not dead yet again, I just needed to update you guys on some cool stuff that has happened to this blog recently. So! Thing #1!
So, if you're a person who pays attention to tiny little details and have read my blog for a while, you may have noticed that in my older posts from 2013, at the end of every post it said "Posted by neros1234". Then in 2014, there was a mix between "Posted by Neros Animaljam" and "Posted by neros1234". And ever since July it's been just "Posted by Neros Animaljam". Man, that was a really boring paragraph! Anyway, the reason that happened was this:

When I first joined Blogger, I had to use my school account because that was the only thing I had, and that username was neros1234. But then I got my own email later, which was great! And I removed my school account in case someone from the district was watching. Like a hawk. A hawk with sunglasses.
But unfortunately I had to use stinky ol' Google+ instead of a Blogger profile, and my name for that was Neros Animaljam. I wasn't too happy about that because, ya know, my original Animal Jam username is neros1234. But today, I found out how to change it back to Blogger! Which is great because I can update all of the outdated/embarrassing stuff I wrote on my original Blogger profile back in April 2013. See if you can tell the difference between the two: (click them to enlarge)
They're pretty much the same, except for the bottom one doesn't have any blogs, and it has way more profile views. Anyway, I just kinda wanted to tell you guys that story. If you thought it was interesting, that's fine. If you thought it was really boring, that's fine too. Either way, we are going on to Thing #2!
First of all, you guys are INCREDIBLE. Remember back in July, when I was all excited to reach 3,000 views in a month? (which is still insane, I can't believe how awesome you people are!) Well, take a look at the pageviews now!
In December, you guys completely blew 3,000 out of the water with July's pageview count PLUS 500 more! Pat yourselves on the back, that is incredible. But you guys did more amazing stuff in the next few months. Just check out January!
FOUR THOUSAND VIEWS?! HOLY COW! You guys are so awesome, I'm so proud of you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! But here's the real kicker, in February...
WOWIE WOW WOW! 5 AND A HALF THOUSAND?! That is unbelievable. I cannot even fathom that amount of people. It may not seem like a lot, compared to bigger people who get 5,500 views or more per day, but just to put it in perspective- AJP got 6,000 views in all of 2013. In the entire YEAR of 2013, and now you guys got almost that ain't in ONE MONTH! That is phenomenal. Just imagine 6,000 people in a room all together, reading something that you have created.  That's crazy, man, but crazy in a very good way. I feel so lucky and grateful to have such a caring and lovely fanbase. Sorry I'm gushing so much over this- I'm not saying "hooray for me, I got a lot of views"- I am congratulating you guys for being so AWESOME!! As I've said before, I would be nowhere without you guys. If you weren't so supportive and nice to me, I wouldn't be here writing these posts. And it's so cool that we reached 3 milestones in 3 months, all in a row!! So I just wanted to express my utter gratitude for sticking with this blog and motivating me to keep going. Anyway! Onto Thing #3!
So, as you might know, I was making a calendar for 2016 in November, but I didn't finish the pages until January, and my dad still hasn't helped me set up the whole thing. Back in November, I had a poll up that was "What is your favorite piece of AJP art?" and now I have "Will you buy my 2016 calendar when it hits stores?" but it expired months ago. Anyway, now I am postponing it, so I'm sorry if you were kinda looking forward to it. I'm sorry I troubled you all with the poll and stuff when it wasn't even going to happen this year. I really am sorry. But now it is a 2017 calendar! I will most likely start selling it in November.
This doesn't have anything to do with the blog, but I won my class, school and district spelling bee! It was really cool, the Scripps US National Spelling Bee has 5 rounds- class, where you are up against people from your class; school, you're up against people from your school; district, where you're up against people from your district (you get the picture); and the final round- national. And I competed in 4 out of 5 of those rounds!! It was so fun and exciting to do. I still can't believe I won. I was number 36, by the way, and I got out on the word "provolone". Although it's not entirely my fault, the guy pronounced it "provolon-ie". I'm used to hearing it pronounced "provol-one". So I got it wrong, whoops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
So that was my spelling bee experience. I hope you don't think I'm bragging, I've never made it this far in the spelling bee before so I just wanted to share that with y'all. Okay, onto Thing #5!

AJP has 69,000 views.
Hee hee hee! I'm sorry, I have the maturity of a fourth grader. That is hilarious to me. It might not be for you, because you have a more mature sense of humor, but I just can't not laugh when someone says 69. Okay, onto some AJ-ness! Here are the latest 2 RIMs, plus my recolored version of one because I did say I was going to recolor an RIM again. So, without further ado, here we go!
Well! It's a plant that you can grow on your head! For 950 gems! Strange choice, if you ask me. You can become like Daisy Head Maisy!
Except this Animal Jam flower looks like Daisy Head Maisy's been living in a dumpster for a couple weeks. Oh man, that flower is going to wilt and die real fast. Eugh, who would want to buy it? Oh well. Does this week's RIM look more promising?
Nope, and to tell you the truth, these look hideous. Well, it's not the truth, but it's my opinion and probably someone else's, too. Man, those colors really clash. And why are the shoes so high? High heels are supposed to be flat at the front, tall at the back, right? I don't know, I've never worn them. I'm going to draw my interpretation of high heels, and then Google it and see what they really look like.
Okay, that was probably the worst drawing I've ever done. It doesn't look like a high heel in the least bit, but you get my idea, right? The tall bit where your heel goes in the back, and the flat part where your toes go in the front. Okay, now let's see what Google has to say.
Hmm. That's very different than me or AJ's drawings. But Animal Jam was wrong! The front part is flat, not raised up! Also, they don't have a sandal strap at the top. Wait... I'm now realizing that AJ's version is one for a short 6-year old, not a 35-year old woman going to a fancy party or something. That is a good choice, AJ. You win this round. I did find something funny when I was searching for that, a YouTube channel called SavageCracker. I want to subscribe to a savage cracker! Well, it's time for me to recolor another item!
I'm doing the Arm Cuffs because they have very bland colors. Here's my version:
Ain't it pretty? I know, right! I especially love the bright magenta, that is A+. I wonder what AJ will do if they make the Rare Arm Cuffs. Alright, time for another Memeotday!!
Yikes. I would hate to be that game show contestant. He looks like he's concentrating so hard on the question! The person who read the question must have had to repeat all the answers so many times, I know that I wouldn't understand that the first time. If he answered A, they would have said "no, the first letter of the alphabet is not C" and if he answered C, they would say the same thing. Someone doesn't want him to win indeed...
Well, that's all I have for today! I hope you liked this post! See you next time, where I will actually do some AJ!

Pet Rules

Oh hey, you've made it to the bottom of the page. Well, now that you're here, it's now your responsibility to make sure the pets get fed. So:
1. Feed Pete 2 or 3 fish. DON'T FEED HIM MORE THAN THAT!! He'll fall over!
2. Over on the Fun Stuff page, feed the fishes about 15 pieces of food (5 clicks) Don't let the red one eat all the food! She's very greedy.
3. And finally, feed Rosie who is also on the Fun Stuff page. She needs about 2 apples and 1 piece of broccoli every day. She loves being brushed, so you should pet her with the brush too!

That's all! Now go feed them. THEY'RE HUNGRY. Oh, and by the way did I mention they need these daily?
