This blog has been on a frickin' ROLL this month!! What a great way to start the new year! Here's a quick synopsis of what's been happening. So, the view count on here was all fine and dandy, and AJP was getting its normal amount of views per day (60-120)... and then right after Christmas, on December 27th, RUSSIA STRUCK. Again.
Now, if you're new to this blog, this exact same thing happened last August. AJP was getting normal views, and then they suddenly SKYROCKETED, causing us to go way over 80,000 views (which I talked about in a post.) And it all comes from Russia, for some reason.
Man, those Russian hackers are at it again! LEAVE MY BLOG ALONE, VLADIMIR!! Anyway, I just wanted to explain what was going on because that's crazy town right there! The above image is the total view count that AJP has gotten over the past month. Usually the US has far more than any other country, but this time Russia has almost 7x more than the US!! Crazy town. SO! Onto the post! I'm not sure if you noticed, but... WE HIT 100,000 VIEWS!! HOLY CRAP!! That's seriously insane guys, I can't thank you enough. And it happened so quickly too! I published the Image Dump 2016 on Monday, January 3rd, and then on Friday night I updated the music on here. (Do you like it, by the way? It's a lot more diverse- it's not just Owl City, but it still has a fair amount of OC songs.) Then, on Saturday, January 7th, 2017 at 5:00 AM CST, WE HIT 100K!! That still feels weird to say. One hundred thousand views. And it happened so quickly, too! Back in October I predicted that we would get to 100,000 in MARCH. MARCH! I thought it would coincide with March 22nd, the day MCR broke up :'( in 2013, and the day we hit 30,000 views in 2015. BUT NO! Over two and a half months earlier! Anyway, you guys, I really can't thank you enough.

One hundred thousand people is so many. I can't even imagine that amount of people. Can you? Just try to imagine fitting 100,000 people in a room. That's CRAZY! And hey, if this was YouTube, I would get a silver play button!
Although I don't like saying "me" and "I", because you guys are as much a part of this as I am. Aren't you? Because you guys are the people that comment, and read all my posts, and enjoy the content that I make, and I really appreciate that. As I've always said, AJP wouldn't be around without any of you. One hundred thousand of you!! That's so incredibly awesome, and it makes me tear up a little bit when I think about that. I mean, there are BILLIONS of blogs out there, and over 100,000 of you chose mine. That's so heartwarming. This little blog that I spent my heart and soul in writing posts for, and you guys more than make up for that. I know it sounds a little corny, but I love y'all- you are great. And if you're ever feeling down or something, just pop an email to me and I'll try to make you feel better! Or if you don't have an email or feel comfortable emailing me, just comment anonymously and I will try to get back to you ASAP. Because I really want to try and give back to you guys for making AJP what it is- all 100,000 of you!! But usually with these milestone posts, it's part of another post and I just move on to another topic. But this one's different. This one's special. It's special because of all the reasons I just listed, and one hundred thousand is a big deal (still feels weird to say!) but also because pf the timing. Because we hit 100k on January 7th, this means that this is the first post of the year- and also the last post before Obama leaves office. And after that is going to be a nightmare. So because of that, I wanted to do something I've never done before on this blog, do something fun for a change! And since you all have read the title anyway, there's really no point in building it up. But I'm going to anyway!!
YEEEAHHH!!! Okay, I made it look like an action movie trailer when it's really not going to be that thrilling. (By the way, you are TOTES MAGOTES not ready for this.) But yes. I am going to FINALLY SHOW MY FACE on this blog!! You know, so you can put a face behind the posts! (This may be a really stupid idea. Oh god.) Usually when people do face reveals they just show one picture from recently, but since this blog has been around for a while I'd like to show a picture from back when the blog started, so you can see how I've changed. I'll show you three pictures- one from November 2013, one from June 2016 and one from December 2016. But not 2014 and 2015 because I was kind of perpetually ugly back then. BUT ANYWAY!! ARE YOU READY?! HERE IS THE FIRST PICTURE!
Hahaha! Oh wow! I look like I'm about 7 there. I was 11 actually. This is the one from November 2013, in case you haven't guessed. The story behind this one is that for Thanksgiving 2013, me and my family went to San Diego, California for the 3rd time. And we went to Legoland, and I took a picture with Lego Yoda. I did not, in fact, hang with my buddy Yoda in 2013, although I wish I had. Also, look at those swoops of hair! In 6th grade (the year this picture was taken) I for some reason thought it was cool to have my hair coming out like this on either side:
Yes, I did just compare my hair in 2013 to a crappy drawing of eyebrows I made 2 years ago.
I was a pretty cool kid back in 2013. All I needed were some sunglasses and I'd be set. NOW ONTO THE NEXT PICTURE!!
Oh dear. Why did I decide to do this? This one was taken on June 15th, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. AND I'M RIDING A COW!! HOW COOL IS THAT?! I thought that was pretty cool because I'm from the North and rarely even see a cow, much less get on its back. Her name is Buttercup, by the way. She was a very nice cow to ride. Oh and also, we were there in Texas on vacation on one of the hottest days of June, and it was 104℉, 40℃. I was literally melting. I think if I hadn't gotten off that cow I would have melted to her and I would still be stuck on her now. I look happy in the picture, but I'm dying behind the eyes. (Actually, you can't really see my face because of my hair, but that's a good thing because my face had just become a sweat puddle at that point.) Plus, look at that swaggy outfit I decided to wear. Blue shirt, orange shorts, and sandals. Lookin' good, Neros. I have 0 fashion sense. OKAYONTOTHENEXTPICTURE!! And this is the FINAL ONE!! Mwahahaha!
This is a picture of me taken on December 1st, 2016 somewhere in Minnesota. I don't exactly know where. This, of course, is the most recent one. I would have just done the 2013 one and this one, but I had to put Buttercup the cow in there, because who doesn't love cows? They're adorable! Anyway, this picture was taken when me and my freshmen class went to a sleepaway camp called Eagle Bluff for a few days last month. And there was a ropes course there that had I think 9 "event courses", they called them, which were basically just GIANTSCARY ROPEWOODFALLINGAHHH things that you would walk on and try to get to the other end. For example, a rotting cargo net, or a rickety bridge like in every animated movie ever:
or something along those lines. On a couple of the event courses, I LITERALLY WALKED ON A WIRE! It was about this wide (not even joking):
                                                   |       |
                                                   |       |
                                                   |       |
                                                   |       |
                                                   |       |
                                                   |       |
                                                   |       |
Like hold your fingers up to that, figure out how long it is, and then compare that to the ground. It was TINY. Oh, and I forgot to mention you're safe in a grappling hook, strapped to a wire above you so if you trip you won't fall down 30 feet (9.1 meters) and break your everything. I felt like that needed to be said, for all the people freaking out that I was walking on rickety bridges and wires just for the fun of it. No, it was a lot more safe than that, don't worry! But it was still super scary. But also super fun! I felt AWESOME when I finally got done with that ropes course. If any of you ever get the chance to do one, I definitely recommend it. Oh and at the end of it, there was a zip line which was super fun! For some reason, the zip line at the end was the hardest for me. I was fine with walking across a wire, but jumping off this huge wooden tower to go on a zip line- I don't know, it was really scary for me. I was strapped in and safe and everything, but I still didn't want to do it. Weird. The teacher that was standing there eventually had to push me off, which really startled me but then the actual zip line was so much fun!! I had a blast, and that picture above was taken when I was on the third event course, called the Chopsticks because they are basically two pieces of rotting wood angled so they stretch out towards the end, so they look like chopsticks. That was an especially scary part for me. The wood was all slippery because it had rained the previous night, and I kept thinking that they were gonna give way and I was going to fall to my death. But actually, I made it through the whole course without falling once! Yay Neros. Okay, I've been talking about my ropes course adventure for far too long now, and it's time to move onto something else!

Like a new paragraph! There we go, that looks much better. Anyway, I just now realized that I am only showing you pictures of me on vacation or camp. Not any pictures of me just normally, in my hometown. Actually, this selection of pictures makes me look like SPORTY MCADVENTURESON but in real life I never do anything. So I took the most fun-looking things I've done in the last 3 years and gave them to you to make it look that way! Aren't I such a great person? But yeah! Now you've seen me next to Lego Yoda, riding on a cow, and walking on two rotting pieces of wood 30 feet/9.1 meters in the air! FUN! Don't I lead such an interesting life? (I'm kidding I'm a lazy piece of crap that usually doesn't go anywhere)AAAAanyway, I'm gonna leave this post here! Usually my posts are filled with pictures and funny things, but I wanted this one to be a little more serious and down-to-earth, because I really do appreciate all 100,000 of you so much. It means so much to me. Usually I put this milestone segment in the middle of another post, but I feel this one deserves its own. And sorry it's so late, I had a ton of school stuff this month to take care of, so I couldn't work on writing it very much. I hope it was worth the wait! And now you know what my stupid face looks like, so you can put a face behind the words and the crazy posts, and know where all that nuttiness comes from. It's a me! (I really need to stop doing Mario impressions.) But there's one more thing I need to do before I go...IT'STIMEFORTHEMEMEOFTHEDAY!!!!
Oh dear. Oh deary dear. Is that Jon from Garfield? Good lord, what do you think she's texting you from? A fricking lasagna? GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF JON ARBUCKLE!! Some people, man... Anyway, thank you so much for getting AJP to 100,000 views and for reading all these posts... it's really awesome. Thank you from the bootom of my heart. See you at 200,000 views!! (Probably won't happen for like another 3 years, but a girl can dream...) Bye!

Pet Rules

Oh hey, you've made it to the bottom of the page. Well, now that you're here, it's now your responsibility to make sure the pets get fed. So:
1. Feed Pete 2 or 3 fish. DON'T FEED HIM MORE THAN THAT!! He'll fall over!
2. Over on the Fun Stuff page, feed the fishes about 15 pieces of food (5 clicks) Don't let the red one eat all the food! She's very greedy.
3. And finally, feed Rosie who is also on the Fun Stuff page. She needs about 2 apples and 1 piece of broccoli every day. She loves being brushed, so you should pet her with the brush too!

That's all! Now go feed them. THEY'RE HUNGRY. Oh, and by the way did I mention they need these daily?
